Picture story 2 

        He may have been brilliant in his career but she was always the one with common sense. While he would get flustered she would calmly give her opinions on serious matters at home. 

       She would always be proved right. Do you think he would accept that. What about his position in society. . He could never be wrong. He could never allow her to be right . 

         Years later with their children away busy with their lives , they are left alone with only themselves for company. Walking on the road in the morning , going round the park footpath , she would always choose non controversial subjects for conversation. 

         Look at that flower. There is a stone on your path . Slightly breezy  day and so on. Once home she would  change the conversations to what to cook and eat , what to watch on tv , which character to support in the serial . All topics in which he had to have the last word. Naturally he was always right. 

         One day returning from the park she casually said , did you see the new red car in that coconut tree house with the green walls. . What green walls , they are blue and there was no red car there. What is happening to you he shouted. She could as usual have left it at that as it was of no great importance. Something made her say. No I did see the red car . 

         I will prove you wrong he said and rushed out. There was the red car in the coconut trees house which did indeed have green walls. 

         What a change. Instead of rushing home blustering he accepted his mistake for the first time. Yes you were right he said with a face saving grin. 

         She was all smiles. Her love which was always strong now shines through. After so many years of patience she was getting to hear those 4 words , “Yes you were right. “😁
